In terms of quality smoothness, it really fulfills my expectations. It is a great braid fishing line. I used it in all of my setups, and I never had any problem with it. The line is strong, bonded so well, and it just blends in the water when I set it up and in any conditions of water, too. The ultrathin diameter makes it subtle in the water as if nothing is really there. I enjoyed using it every time I’m out fishing, it has never let me down, and it comes off the reel like there’s nothing there at all. So far, this is one of the best braids I've ever used. It's nice and limp, casts great and is fairly easy to work with. It's also incredibly smooth. Like when you're applying it to your reel, most braids, if you hold tension on the line when you spool it, you'll burn/cut your fingers, this seems to not do that.
I will say I bought 20 and 30 pounds. The 20 pound is almost too fine to work with, a bit more difficult in the surf, the 30 pound is just right. Cuts easier when wet, too. The color of the line will fade over time. I don't believe the discoloration has any effect on the integrity of the line.
Great stuff, a bit spendy, but it seems to last a long time as well.
