Our Take

It is my second purchase of an ice fishing bib. The first experience wasn’t that great, and in my search for comfort and specifications, I went on looking for another, until I found this. The STRIKER Ice Men’s fishing bib is the one you must look for. The bib is ultra-warm and also has a superb fit. The material is soft, with thick padding inside. The bib comes along with magnetic straps in the front for perfect fitting. There is great many number of pockets provided along with durable zippers and closures.

The only thing that could make you reconsider the product is the difficulty in urination. The Hydrapore technology of the material used in manufacturing ensures breathability, 5000/5000 rating for preventing water penetration, and windproof too. Otherwise, the product has excellent insulation and has a good fit right in. I would remark it worth the money spent!

Our Take

I bought this bib for my younger sibling. He once mentioned to me off buying some overalls for himself. To my surprise, these were well within my budget and bought this with a single thought in mind; it won’t be that great of a loss even if my brother rejects it. And guess what, it fits right in. These are warm, comfortable, and they must wear when the temperature drops down. The multi-layered outer shell gets designed to be water and wind-resistant.

My brother was quite excited and thrilled with the design. He did not expect my choice to be that good. This heavy-duty ballistic bib can withstand the harshest outdoor conditions, which makes durable. The product gets made from light material that makes it fit for winter activities. The outfit is made very permanent, keeps warm all day, and also is aesthetically pleasing to wear. It’s a definite yes from my brother and me.

Cons

  • Not durable enough

Our Take

Well, not much of memory with this particular bib. Though I bought this bib for myself when we were planning on salmon fishing in Northern Japan, I lend it to my cousin. He was overwhelmed with my gesture and in love with the product as soon as he put it on. It is warm, keeps you dry, and, most importantly, comfortable.

The bib is perfect for rainy days and windy weather. The insulation and all is good, and the bib isn’t very heavy. But the one thing that concerns me is that this isn’t very durable. I am not sure if the suit lasted the entire winter season, but I used it thoroughly. And to my surprise, it wasn’t long before the bib went on leaking. I would still have another try with this one because the fitting is perfect and comfortable enough.

Cons

Our Take

I once bought this gear when I had to work entirely on the field in almost every weather condition. Well, this particular has certain features that made me purchase it immediately. The rubber cuffs on the jacket, retractable hood, double zipper configuration, reinforced crotch, and a multitude of pockets are some of the attractive features. The quality is excellent, and the design is beautiful. I haven’t been using it much, but the way it looks, it is supposed to last a minimum of three more winters. It has invariably overcome every obstacle that I put it through and supported me to the best.

They got built-in with numerous and large pockets which are warm too. The hood can get rolled away while it’s not raining.

Cons

  • Not stylish

Our Take

This gear is a simple looking one with a bit wide fitting. I would generally not recommend this piece because of the fit and design. The bib is warm and keeps you dry throughout. It is supposedly waterproof and windproof. I haven’t used it much because of the style. It is too simple for my likes and looks baggy, which makes it kind of weird. Apart from that, the gear best fits the purpose. The insulation features keep the entire body warm and comfortable while working outside in the freezing winters. The bib also features internal knee and seat padding that keeps you protected. The zipper vents are perfect for temperature regulation. Just the ideal warmth needed for your body.
