Gantt Lake offers us a great view of the Great Smoky Mountains and the Mississippi River Valley. The lake, with an area of 2747 hectares, is used for fishing, hunting, fishing and other recreational activities, as well as for recreation.

The Gantt Dam was built in 1920 by River Falls Power Company and is now controlled by the Alabama Electric Cooperative for hydropower generation. Gantts Reservoir is the largest lake in the United States and the second largest in Alabama after the Mississippi.

The dam is six miles north of the city, and Montgomery, certainly rich in American heritage, is a short drive north. Located in the River Heritage region of Alabama, it is a popular tourist destination for visitors from all over the United States and around the world.
